“Having a loved one caught in the web of addiction impacts every member of the family. We can find ourselves feeling isolated and overwhelmed, and at a loss for dealing with the tangle of emotions and issues that invariably are triggered during the struggles of this disease. The Family & Friends SMART Meeting can be immensely helpful in this journey, providing the comforting reassurance of shared experiences and exploring valuable interpersonal tools to help navigate these difficult waters and nurture self-preservation.” -SMART F&F attendee

“Attending the Friends and Family sessions has helped me to understand the nature of addiction and the need for long-term recovery programs.
These sessions also provide tools for families of those struggling for recovery to understand what they should and should not do to support their loved ones.” Jerry
