About Gray
Gray Manis earned his Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Kentucky in 1995 and graduated from the University of Denver in 1996 with a Master of Social Work degree. He has been practicing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 1999. He also has his certification as a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor and is a certified EMDR therapist and consultant. He was the Executive Director of The Shepherd’s House from 1998-2000, Director of Treatment Services at the Chrysalis House from 2000-2003 and was the Director of Outpatient Services at Ridge Behavioral Health System from 2004-2006. He is currently on the faculty of the University of Kentucky Department Of Psychiatry, and has been working there since 2006 as an Assistant Professor and outpatient therapist. He is also a part-time adjunct instructor in the U.K. College of Social Work. Mr. Manis enjoys working with adults in his clinical practice. His interests include addiction treatment, trauma resolution, internal family systems therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
