About Danielle
Danielle Sanders is a proud resident, born and raised, of Lexington, KY. She is a graduate of Paul Laurence Dunbar High School. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Kentucky and a Master’s of Science degree from Eastern Kentucky University.
Danielle has been employed with Kentucky’s Administrative Office of the Courts, Specialty Courts program since 2001 where she began her career as a case manager with the Fayette County Drug Court program. In 2003, she became the Urban Program Supervisor, at times overseeing numerous programs within Fayette County, including the Adult Drug Court, Juvenile Drug Court, Family Drug Court and Veterans Treatment Court. In 2016, she was promoted to Regional Supervisor and currently oversees the Fayette County and Jefferson County Specialty Court programs, specifically the Adult Drug Court and Veterans Treatment Court programs.
Danielle has been with numerous boards over the year, including: Mother to Mother of Lexington, Chair and Vice Chair of Drug Free Lex, Heroin Task Force, LFUCG Homeless Prevention Board, Congressman Andy Barr’s Substance Abuse Task Force and others. She is currently part of Voices of Hope, Bluegrass Reentry Council and DrugFreeLex. She is a member of Kingdom Fellowship Living Word Ministries in Georgetown, KY.
Danielle is also a proud mom to 4 amazing children and the GaMME (grandmother) of one wonderful granddaughter. In her spare time, she works as the founder and Chief Visionary Officer of Clean Queen & Her Busy Bees, a commercial and residential organizational and cleaning company.
