$1,000 Annual Award

The Voices of Hope's Scholarship awards current a student in recovery from substance use disorder (meaning they are seeking positive change to improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and to reach their full potential) who is currently enrolled at a trade school, college or university in Kentucky.

What do you do to sustain your recovery?

What are your long-term career goals?

Eligibility​

  • Have been in recovery for one or more years
  • Have completed at least one semester as a full-time student enrolled in a trade school, college or university in Kentucky (eligible institutions will have a regularly scheduled curriculum, a regular faculty, and an enrolled body of students in attendance)
  • Be in good academic standing (minimum of 2.5 GPA)
  • Have a realistic plan to cover remaining education expenses
  • Be available to accept award at Voices of Hope's Recovery Awareness Day Event on September 5, 2026 at Gatton Park and be featured in promotional materials related to the scholarship
  • A US citizen or resident alien
  • Current Voices of Hope employees are not eligible for this scholarship
